The genesis of the project:


The Bergamo Brescia Italian Capital of Culture 2023 project was born as a sign of hope,
pride and relaunch. A necessary moment of beauty after the dramatic pandemic experience.
A strong will of the Mayors of the two Municipalities,
together with all the institutions of the respective territories,
embraced by the rest of the country.
A very high-profile project to indicate the possible answers to the great
challenges of our time,
which Bergamo and Brescia have identified and developed by drawing on a
common cultural lifeblood.
Bergamo Brescia Italian Capital of Culture 2023 is the testimony of a possible rebirth through the conscious choice of culture,
as a central element for civil training, the creation of skills, work and social and economic stability.
